“Lempu” means light, while “hyang” is a designation for God. Therefore, Lempuyang Temple means a God that shines a bright light. The name is very fitting since the temple is located on the east of the island where the sun can be seen rising in the morning beautifully right through the Gate of Heaven.
Tirta Gangga was constructed in 1946 by the late King Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, the king of Karangasem. It was designed as a place of worship and meditation for the royal family. Its grounds are spread over a large area with lush gardens and pathways. It is still beloved by the Balinese today.
Taman Ujung ‘water palace’, with its complete and official designation of Taman Sukasada Ujung, is located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency. It’s the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late king of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline.
Virgin Beach is a very popular beach tourism object because of the beauty of the beach with white sand and very clear water, this beach is ideal for swimming and sunbathing activities, where around the beach there are facilities for renting a sunbathing area.
Experience the mystique of Goa Lawah Temple, known as the ‘Bat Cave Temple’ for its ancient cave filled with bats. Located along Bali’s southeastern coast, this sacred site is steeped in myth and spiritual significance. Explore the temple’s unique architecture and tranquil surroundings, where Hindu devotees come to worship amidst the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Bali.
